Social
The health and safety of our employees is on the forefront of every decision that we make. We promote a culture of safety through a balance of strict enforcement and incentives. Secure operations are necessary to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
We work closely with the United States Coast Guard and local police authorities to ensure our assets are well guarded. Technology plays a large role in securing our operations. Access to our facilities is enforced by an automated system ensuring only authorized personnel gain entry. Our operations are under heavy video surveillance allowing detection of unauthorized access attempts before they happen.
Service is one of Bluewing's pillars and is key to our culture. We serve each other and our local communities. Bluewing understands our responsibility in giving back to the communities that have served us. Our community investments focus strongly on better opportunities for children coming from less privileged backgrounds.
Governance
Strong environmental initiative begins with excellent leadership and guidance. Our sustainability mission is governed by Bluewing's Environmental Sustainability Committee. The committee meets regularly to set environmental initiatives and propose renewable energy projects.
Bluewing's four pillars - Safety, Service, Technology and Communication, serve as a framework for our environmental governance. Commitment to our pillars is reflected in our incentive based programs designed to reward strong safety performance and technology innovation. As a key part of our culture, safety guides us to conduct our operations in a way that is environmentally friendly. We strictly comply with applicable regulations to ensure we are operating in a sustainable manner.
Our solution oriented thought process includes technology implementations. We employ the best available technologies to minimize emissions. Sustainability is achieved through a persistent effort of accountability and responsibility. Our team has frequent discussion on how to expand our renewable energy involvement.
